If you have a child who will be 5 years old, on or before August 1, please call to have your child registered for kindergarten.
Q: How do I enroll my child in school?
A: To enroll your child, it is important to bring his/her birth certificate, immunization records, records from former school districts, and court custody papers (if applicable) to the Board Office. See Registration information below.
Q: How do I know which school my child will attend?
A: All students will attend school at our K-12 building. Our schools are organized by grade level.
Lakota Elementary: Preschool thru 4th Grade
Lakota Middle School: Grades 5-8
Lakota High School: Grades 9-12
Q: Who should I contact if my child is absent from school?
A: If your child is absent from school, please contact the office for the level your child attends. Please send a note to school the next day with the reason for absence, signed and dated by a parent or legal guardian. The phone numbers can be found at the top of the Lakota Website.

Open Enrollment:
Attention parents and students of any School District in the State of Ohio wishing to attend Lakota Local School District tuition free. Lakota will once again participate in
OPEN ENROLLMENT.
In addition to a completed online application, you must provide a proof of residency, such as a utility bill that can be scanned and emailed directly to: kstahl@lakotaschools.org. Non-resident students can apply to attend the Lakota Local School District at no cost.

The application for the 2024-25 school year will be posted on the homepage beginning April 1st.
