Graduation Requirements and Honors Diploma Information:
Ohio Graduation Requirements (Class of 2023 and beyond): This link outlines the State’s requirements to graduate. The three key components of graduation can be found here:
Course Completion: Completing credit requirements in specified subjects
Demonstrating Competency: Students must obtain a score of 684 or higher on the End of Course tests for Algebra I and ELA 2. If the score is not obtained in 2-3 attempts, students will need to complete an Alternative Pathway.
Demonstrating Readiness (Seals): Students must meet the requirements for 2 seals. One seal must be a State-Defined Seal.
Honors Diploma Requirements (New as of 2025): The Honors Diploma also now comes with an Honors Diploma Seal. The requirements have changed and any graduate in the Class of 2025 and beyond must meet these new requirements in order to gain an Honors Diploma.
College Credit Plus:
College Credit Plus (CCP) is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families.
Mandatory informational meetings will be held in October, January, and February each school year. Attendance is mandatory for participation. Please

College Entrance Testing:
Offered to 10 th and 11 th graders in October at Lakota for a fee.
11th graders can qualify for scholarships and recognition. 10th graders are encouraged to take the exam for early feedback on their skills.
Offered to 11 th grade students each March at Lakota. This opportunity is at no cost to the student.
